About the Mission

The Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) carries out its mission through three interconnected mandates: Evangelism and Discipleship for spiritual growth, Stewardship for responsible resource management, and Society Transformation for community well-being. The Anglican Development Services (ADS) Kenya plays a key role, working on climate change, health, education, and governance to foster dignified living across communities.

Key Pillars of Mission

Historical Context

The first Anglican missionary in Kenya, Dr. John Ludwig Krapf, established the Rabai mission station in 1843. His pioneering work laid the foundation for the church’s role in evangelism and social development.
